This is a picture of a public toilet in Houston….

As you can see, it is all made of mirrors from the outside…..

Now that you’ve seen the outsideview, 

 take a look from the inside  view… 

It’s made entirely of one-way glass! 
No one can see you from the outside, but when you are inside, it’s like sitting in a clear glass box! —- would you still….?

BRIDGES are indeed the symbol of HOPE! whenever you feel lonely or depressed just listen to the song Like a Bridge over Toubled water..or somewhere over the rainbow :)

My Bridge(s) list !!!

I always have this thing about bridges—and I cant explain why.

Maybe because of the influence of the song that my dad used to sing………      ♪♪♪like a bridge over troubled water♪♪♪ so for some reason I have identified BRIDGE as a symbol of HOPE.

There are a lot of amazing bridges in the world but I am sharing with you the     top 7 bridges that I want to see in reality.

1. The Tower Bridge (United Kingdom)                                                        

     This is mistakenly referred as The London Bridge. They have started the construction of this bridge in the year of 1886 and opened to public in June 1894 and cost them £100 million (as of 2011) to build this. This bridge was said to be the most photographed bridge in the world- not bad to cost that much!

I remember during my childhood i used to sing a nursery rhyme

 ♪♪♪London Bridge is falling down,
     Falling down, falling down.
     London Bridge is falling down,
     My fair lady♪♪♪

and since then up till now, I fancy to see and take photos in this classy and very royal bridge.

2. The Golden Gate (San Francisco, California-USA)

     It was said as one of the photographed in the world alongside The Tower Bridge. This bridge was also declared as one of the modern wonders of the world.

The construction started in the year of January 1933 and opened to public in May 1937.

Again, when i was a kid.. I can always see photos of this bridge on the calendars, posters, photos from my rich classmates that were able to travel abroad and even in jeepneys (most popular public transport in the Philippines).

So it this has been stucked on my mind and was added in my Bridge list.

3. Brooklyn Bridge (New York - USA)

     It was declared as the longest suspension bridge in the world and one of the oldest suspension bidge in the USA. Construction begun in January 1870 and opened to public in May 1883.

I have heared about this bridge sometime before when I was young but it had totally caught my attention when I watched the movie Sex & the City (SATC) wherein Miranda and her husband Steve made a deal that if they don’t want to push through with their divorce, they must meet at Brooklyn bridge. That scene was so romantic…and that was when I felt that this bridge must be on my list too!♥♥♥

4. Sydney Harbour Bridge (Sydney, Australia)

     Built in 1923 and opened for public in March 1932.

This bridge was declared by Guinness as World’s largest long-span bridge and 5th longest spanning-arch bridge in the world also known as “The coat hanger” because of its arch besed design.

I have been familiar with this bridge because it is always featured every New Year countdown with all those spectacular fireworks display„,there is no doubt that I will forget this bridge!

I have also watched in 1 Philippine sports show the Bridge Climb. It is when the tourist can actually have an experience to climb the arch of the bridge that will take place for about 3 1/2 hours. I have great fear in heights and in water but there is no doubt that I’m going to try this one day.

5. Rialto Bridge (Venice, Italy)

     It is said that this bridge is the oldest bridge across the Grand Canal being built in 1588 and opened to public in 1591.

Everytime I think of Italy, the gondola ride in Venice passing under Rialto bridge is always the thing that comes first in my mind well of course Im not denying that I also think about their pastas, dolces, coffees, pizzaz and shoes!

I always wish that someday, I can stand on top of this bridge with the love of my life… I think Italy is one of the most romantic places in the world! ♥

6. Gateshead Millennium Bridge (United Kingdom)

      Known as the only “Tilting Bridge” in the world, who would not want to see this one of a kind structure?! It was opened to public in May 2002 and the bridge is only for cyclists and pedestrian.

This bridge is also often referred to as the “Blinking Eye Bridge”. This is believed to have cost £22 Million to construct this jaw-dropping bridge—-worth every pound I believe! =)

7. Millau Viaduct (France)

      This is the tallest bridge in the world which is 1,125 ft. (WOW!) and cost €400 million to finish. Construction started in October 2001 and was opened to public in December 2004.

I know I have issues with heights and I’m not really sure if I can stand in there but definitely I will save up a hell lot of courage to do so if opportunity occurs.

I REALLY HOPE TO HAVE A PHOTOGRAPH OF ME IN THESE AMAZING BRIDGES!!!

The Break-Up

A break-up is 1 of the toughest situation anyone have to deal with and there is NO EXEMPTION to this rule.

What’s ironic about a break-up is that we know we will be hurting someone but we always tell the person that “I just want you to be okay, everything will be fine, please be strong..be OK”. Funny it is how we can honestly say that to person we love that we are about to break the heart… </3

As for me, I just let it all out…I cry——BIGTIME! but after that, I move on..i look forward…i search for the rainbow! There must be no regrets„no what if’s„no self pitying, no bitterness—no holding back! WE JUST HAVE TO ACCEPT!

ACCEPTANCE is the best way to survive this heartache.

 There are a lot of things the WORLD still have to offer so we must explore all the possibilities awaiting for us being alone, afterall„„ LOVE might find us during the course of our exploration…

Im not at all saying thought that break-ups are easy.. it’s just that we must know how to handle the turn of events..it’s all part of life..all part of learning..all part of molding us to become a better person.

so remember… WE WILL BE OKAY! (“,)

Finally!!

 I have always dreamt of writing and publishing my own book but have really no idea how it works…

So joining Tumblr will be a very good exercise for me to share my thoughts, my ideas, my dreams…and simply the daily happenings in my life to everyone.

Most of the time… thoughts are just playing in my mind and I know that only thru writing I’ll be able to express everything….and i mean…EVERYTHING!
